The first step of working together is the initial consultation. In this meeting we investigate and explore your goals and listen to your ideas and objectives. We get to know the project scope and type, and get an understanding of what kind of design your project requires. We then come up with a proposal which covers all the details that we will oversee. This ensures that the scope of the project is clear and that no details are missed.
After the proposal has been accepted, we will then review your design ideas and requirements. With consideration of all interior design opportunities and budget, we create a preliminary concept and vision for your space.
This is when we transform all the unique ideas into a well executed design plan. We will present you with all of the design selections and details to give you the overall vision of your project.
After the design has been loved and approved we will provide you with a design package that will move you into the next phase of your project – the construction phase. This package will include floor plans and layouts, millwork details and drawings, lighting layout and fixtures, plumbing selection, materials and finishes specification documents, and an outlined budget.
We closely follow the procurement process and make sure the quality of the built space matches the quality of the designed space. If you are not already working with a contractor, we are more than happy to recommend qualified trades that best fit your project goals. We will be the mediators between you and your General Contractor, ready to do site visits and answer any questions that may come up.
Every project and every client is different so there is a variety of ways we can tailor our services to meet your needs. We understand that our clients have different circumstances and preferences which is why we allow our clients to dictate their level of involvement with each project. This will give you a peace of mind that your project is looked after in detail. We can provide photo-realistic renderings of your project to help you visualize the wow-factor that your project will achieve once it comes to life. We also love to be invloved with the finishing touches of the projects we are involved in. After the construction phase is complete, we can help with stylizing the space with furniture, artwork and accessories.
